Interview with the Artist
Interviewer: How did you become an artist?
Artist: I started painting as soon as I could pick up a brush, so you could say I was born this way.
Interviewer: How is your artistic process?
Artist: Just as the historical artists relied on mirrors and magnifying glasses, I take advantage of the technology we have today.
My recent work aims to break free from all constraints, including the process, an essential move for any artist to evolve creatively.
Interviewer: Subject matter and inspiration?
Artist: I aim to be a conscientious painter. My collection ARS GRATIA MARIS celebrates the wonders of the sea, while AESOP offers a cautionary narrative for our modern era. My upcoming series, SURFACE TENSION, again turns to the ocean, exploring the fragile relationship between marine life and human influence.
Interviewer: How long does it take to paint a picture?
Artist: How long is a piece of string?
Interviewer: What do you want people to feel when they stand in front of your work?
Artist: Like they’ve discovered a quiet truth.
Thank you!
