Aesop

Αἴσωπος

GREEK SLAVE AND STORYTELLER

Aesop used animals to teach enduring moral lessons. His fables have captivated generations across the world for thousands of years.

Living in a rural village, I’m surrounded by animals that remind me of Aesop’s characters. They inspired this series of oil paintings, created in the hope of encouraging others to rediscover these timeless tales—stories that still speak to our disoriented world.

In this collection, I blend classical technique with a touch of the surreal, reinterpreting each fable not merely as an illustration, but as a visual meditation on moral questions—on justice, vanity, greed, and the complexities of human nature.

These are not just paintings for children—they are paintings for humanity.
