Aesop

Timeless Tales for a

Disoriented World

Aesop, a Greek slave and storyteller, used animals to teach us moral lessons. His simple fables have been read by generations around the world for millennia.

As an adult, I’ve found myself returning to these stories because today they seem as relevant as ever.

Living in a rural village, I’m surrounded by the animals that remind me of Aesop’s characters. They have inspired me for this series of oil paintings.

I blend classical technique with a touch of the surreal, reinterpreting the fable not simply as an illustration, but as a visual meditation on the moral questions of social and individual morality like: justice, vanity, or greed.

These are not just paintings for children - they are paintings for humanity.
