1990 - 2016

My most notable earlier work starts with my GCSE final piece painted at 15 years old. Shortly after, I began to paint in a cubist style, blown away after seeing Duchamp´s Nude Descending a Staircase. Technical drawing at college and the study of early Renaissance artists then awoke a fascination with perspective within paintings, using light and scale to create depth. More recently, I have been exploring the relatively new style of hyperrealism and the three-dimensional qualities you can create within a flat canvas.
