Pareidolia is the psychological phenomenon of seeing familiar forms within abstraction - to find meaning in randomness. While working with flowing lines and instinctive marks, I began to discover sea creatures emerging naturally from the compositions, and felt compelled to abstract them further through the paintings themselves.
